Summary
Solvometry and this website are operated by Bit Bros LLC (“we”, “us”), which is responsible for the information collected here. This website exists to explain what Solvometry is building and to let interested people join our early-access list or apply to be a design partner. We collect the minimum information needed to do that, we do not sell it, and we use analytics only to understand how the site is used, not for advertising.
Information you give us
- Early-access list: your email address and, optionally, your name and company, plus whether you opted in to product updates.
- Design-partner applications: your name, work email, company, and any optional details you choose to provide about your role, optimization tools, workloads and challenges.
Please do not submit confidential optimization models, data or solutions through this website. If we work together, any such material will be exchanged through a secure channel under separately agreed terms.
Information collected automatically
We record usage events (for example, page views, clicks on calls to action and form completions) to understand which parts of the site are useful. In our own database, these events are associated with a random identifier that is held in your browser's session storage and discarded when you close the tab, together with the referring website's domain, campaign (UTM) parameters and which version of the homepage you saw. We do not store your IP address in our database.
We also use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to measure visits and engagement. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, on Google's servers, as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical information, such as IP addresses, when serving the site, as described in GitHub's own privacy statement.
How we use information
- To contact you about early access and, if you opted in, to send occasional product and research updates.
- To evaluate design-partner applications and follow up with relevant applicants.
- To understand aggregate interest in Solvometry and prioritize what we build.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
Storage, sharing and retention
Form submissions are sent directly from your browser to our form provider, Formspree, which stores them and forwards them to us by email on our behalf. The contents of forms, such as your name and email address, are never sent to Google Analytics. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for marketing. We keep submissions for as long as the early-access program is active, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to info@bitbrosdata.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we will honor them.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy as Solvometry evolves and post the revised date above. Questions are welcome at info@bitbrosdata.com.
